The light of education that Nehru World school gives its students has firmly established the fact that education is not about gathering information but it is about moulding them into responsible, educated citizens of our country.
NWS, Ghaziabad, celebrated the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for classes X- XII for the session 2018-19 on 6th July, 2019 with enthusiastic fervour.
The school felicitated all its achievers for their outstanding performance both in scholastic and co-scholastic domain.
Ms. Susan Holmes, Head Teacher NWS, welcomed the parents and applauded the achievers for their celebrated achievement in Sports, Arts, Photography, Music and Oratory skills. The students along with their parents were awarded trophies, scholar badges and certificates for appreciating their hard work, determination & will power to attain their goals successfully.
Believing that, excellence is an outcome of good intention and the right way to do work, NWS also announced Scholarship for its deserving candidates on this momentous occasion. 66 meritorious students received the ‘Scholarship 2018-19’. NWS also honoured 8 of its students for making it through IIT Advance, 11 students for qualifying NEET, 6 students for qualifying NTSE and 1 student for qualifying Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna -2018 (KVPY). A total amount of 70, 56,640 rupees had been awarded to students to encourage them in order to excel in their fields.
Mr. Arunabh Singh introduced Veer Chakra, Sena Medal Col C. B. Sharma- Head Administration, a new member of NWS family to the parents. The event culminated with a vote of thanks by Mr. Arunabh Singh who stated the importance of being rooted at achieving Success. He further added “Success isn’t just about what you accomplish in your life; it’s about accepting failures with dignity.”
