Nehru World School, in collaboration with Aawaz Education Services, is delighted to host the Ideas in Action Summit 2.0—a transformative two-day event engaging students from Grades 6 to 12 in the dynamics of Model United Nations (MUN) and Youth Parliament. The summit offers a structured platform to develop leadership, public-speaking, research, and diplomatic skills while debating pressing global and national issues.

Event Details:

  • For: Students of NWS from Grades 6 to 12

  • Dates: 1st & 2nd November 2025

  • Orientation & Ice-breaking: 30th September 2025 (in person)

  • Training sessions: Scheduled after 09th October 2025 (online/offline; details post-registration)

  • Venue: Nehru World School, Ghaziabad

  • Registration Deadline: 09th October 2025

  • Delegate Fee: ₹1800/-

  • Secretariat & OC (Organising Committee) — Planning & execution; rules & procedures; logistics; delegate support

Shared (Open to Grades 6–12)

  • Lok Sabha — Nationwide caste census & its impact on reservation policies

  • AIPPM — Debating the implementation and implications of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC)

Why Participate? The summit provides an exceptional opportunity for students to:

  • Hone Public Speaking and Debating Skills: Through real-world simulations of the United Nations and the Indian Parliament.

  • Enhance Critical Thinking: Engage in thought-provoking debates on global issues that require informed, well-considered arguments.

  • Expand Worldviews: Understand complex international relations and policy-making processes firsthand.

  • Build Confidence: Develop the ability to articulate viewpoints and negotiate resolutions confidently.

Programme Highlights:

  • Interactive Sessions: Participate in age-appropriate committees (e.g., Lok Sabha, UNSC, DISEC, UNDP, NHRC, AIPPM) across 13 committees, debating and drafting solutions to national and global issues.

  • Skilled Facilitation: Sessions mentored by Aawaz Education Service with experienced moderators guiding research, rules of procedure, and public speaking.

  • Diverse Roles: Serve as a delegate; join the Press Corps (journalist, photo-journalist, cartoonist, memer, vlogger); or take on Secretariat & Organising Committee leadership.

  • Awards & Recognition: Certificates for all participants, plus prizes for outstanding debate, diplomacy, journalism, leadership, and teamwork.
