We use Math all the time! It is pertinent to note how one experiences mathematical applications in daily life from the time one gets up from bed until one goes to bed at night.
Do you see Math and its relevance in the real world?
Nehru World School invited students to participate, discover, solve and express numbers through the 2nd edition of Math Around Me.
Students submitted their entries to present Math in the real world as it unfolds in their daily life.
We are overwhelmed by the response to the ‘Math Around Me’ campaign. Thank you for sharing the Math concepts and applications around you and making the campaign a hit!
Math becomes easy when you find creative ways and applications of concepts in your daily life. Hope you enjoyed creating the videos as much as we loved watching them.
Total number of Entries received 1121 from 137 Schools of 7 Countries.
A step-by-step process to participate:

Step 1: Make a video (duration maximum 1-minute) explaining a Mathematics concept relating to ‘Math Around Me’. Start your sentence with “I see Math Around Me in………”.

Step 2: Tag and upload on social media.

Step 3: Share the link of your post in our entry form (Click below for the entry form)

Students from grades 8 to 12 can participate.

There is NO FEE required to participate in this event.

The number of entries is not limited, multiple submissions from students and school are acceptable.

Students themselves can fill out their forms online.

For multiple concepts/ ideas, make multiple videos.

Share the video on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.

The most interesting entries which demonstrate the use of Math and meet the evaluation criteria will win exciting prizes, comprising tablets, kindles, smart speakers, headphones and backpacks.
