The Annual Production of Nehru World School, Primary Wing Cambridge showcased ‘The Tale of Panchatantra’ with great zeal and enthusiasm on Sunday, March 03rd, 2018. The programme commenced with the encouraging words of Ms. Susan Holmes, the Head Teacher followed by the welcome song. The highlights of the event had been the annual report read by the students’ and the theatre performance.
The Tale of Panchatantra was a story about a king of Amarsakti, whose three sons were imprudent. An astute man, Pandit Vishnu Sharma undertook the task of imparting knowledge and wisdom to the princes. The story revolved around how Pandit Vishnu Sharma enlightened the princes through interesting tales. The story explained how to understand others, choose reliable friends, overcome difficulties and problems through thoughtfulness and wisdom. The vibrancy with which the story was conceptualised through humorous moments, energetic dance performances and props captivated the spectators.
