The Story of Noodle and Doodle
The Annual Production of NWS, Ghaziabad Primary Wing Cambridge showcased ‘The Story of Noodle and Doodle’ with great zeal and enthusiasm on Saturday, November 03rd , 2018. Ms. Saumya Aggarwal and Mr. Sahil Aggarwal, social entrepreneurs and educationists were the chief guest at the coruscating function. The programme commenced with the encouraging words of Ms. Susan Holmes, the Head Teacher followed by the welcome song highlighting the benefits of reading. The highlights of the event had been the annual report read by the students’ and the theatre performance.
The Story of Noodle and Doodle was about the blame game especially played by children. The character Noodle is a peppy, quirky boy who gets into trouble but has so many excuses, he also doesn’t like to take responsibility of his own behaviour. The other character Doodle is a thrilled girl who irks others all the time. The story revolves around turning the blame game into the responsibility challenge for children.
There were many moments of humour, some times of thinking, and lots of careful reflecting on our own actions. The story showcases the idea of personal space in a manner that connects with children. It makes us realise the importance of accepting responsibility and addressing the complex issue of respect for another person’s physical boundaries. The vibrancy with which the story was conceptualised through energetic dance performances and props captivated the crowd.
Mr. Arunabh Singh – Director NWS motivated and appreciated the participants’ confidence and tremendous efforts.
