'Alice in Wonderland' Annual Production Grades IV & VI - May 2018

“Alice in Wonderland”

NWS, Ghaziabsd organized its 40th Annual Production on 12th May 2018 for classes IV and VI (CBSE), to commemorate and rejoice the learning of the students. Ms. Susan Holmes, Head Teacher of Nehru World School addressed the gathering and motivated them with her inspirational words.

The event started with a welcome song and Ganesh Vandana to invoke the blessings of Lord Ganesha.

The event commenced with a great fervor and zeal showcasing the flair of students in their skill of music, art and theatre. The Annual Report read by the students, highlighted the achievements of the School and its pupils. This was followed by the play “Alice in Wonderland” based on a book by Lewis Carroll, in which Alice, a little girl, who follows a rabbit in a blue coat to a magical wonderland. Through the dreams, she is reunited with her friends who make her realize her true destiny.

It was interesting to see how she encountered various talking animals and an unusual Queen.

The wonderful diction, fluency, theatrical skills, confidence, synchronization and performance on the invigorating songs left the audience spell-bound. The event culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by Mr. Arunabh Singh who acknowledged the efforts put in by the teachers and the students for such an enthralling show. He praised the high-spirited efforts and confidence of the students inspiring them to be more responsible members of the society.
