The learning-by-doing approach is beyond books. Therefore Nehru World School organized an excursion to Mashobra, Shimla from 27th to 30th May 2017 for the students of Classes VI to XI. This three day adventurous camp was a fun filled camp which was organized by an adventure based research organization, Rocksport. The students had a very exciting and thrilling experience during the camp. The well planned itineraries facilitated students to get best out of their packed schedule which included numerous activities like trekking, rappelling, mountain biking, zip line etc. Rocksport team, which consisted of highly qualified professionals, engaged the students in various workshops like ‘face painting‘ and ‘journal writing‘. Through a plethora of workshops, and activities, the team helped the students to redefine the parameters of learning and entertainment to a new level. On the whole, the trip was a enthralling experience and it made the students discover something new about them. Adventure there was positive and full of anticipation; it encompassed great energy and exploring the unknown. On the whole, the trip was a great success and all the students acquired new learning and new strengths in the wilderness.
