Kabeer - Annual Production Class 9
Nehru World School organized its 39th Annual Production on 29th April’17 for class IX. The School provides platform which always favours and endeavours the talent of its students and motivates them to be a responsible and awakened human being. The event was graced by the benign presence of Mr. Rishi Khanna, the epitome of humanity who undertook a noble deed of opening Pragati Wheel School for the underprivileged children. The school is located in the bed of river Yamuna, Pandav Nagar, Delhi. It was established in 2007 and started functioning from a cow shelter of a local farm and today the school provides basic education to 250 children. The event also witnessed the presence of the grandparents and parents who have always been a great support in making an event successful. The event started with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
The event commenced with a great fervour and zeal showcasing the flair of students in their skill of music, art and theatre. The play depicted the teachings and philosophical thinking of great poet ‘Kabeer’. The theatrical presentation won the hearts of everyone and its universal theme added splendour to the event. The play portrayed that one should have strong desire to know, should abandon ego and should be prepared to accept all consequences. The remarkable display was applauded by the audiences. The highlights of the event had been the annual report read by the students and live orchestra band of the students.
The event culminated with the vote of thanks by Mr. Arunabh Singh who praised the confident enactment of the students motivating them to be resilient members of the society.
