National Standard Examination (NSE) 2016

National Standard Examination (NSE) conducted by IAPT in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, Junior Science is the first step for the worldwide Olympiad.
After NSE examination, next step for the eligible students is the Indian National Olympiad (INO) examination in the respective subjects.
National Standard Examination in Chemistry / Biology / Astronomy / Junior Science
National Standard Examination in Chemistry (NSEC) and National Standard examination in Biology (NSEB) is conducted in collaboration with ACT (Association of Chemistry Teachers) and ATBS (Association of Teachers in Biological Sciences). Both these exams are also at the Std. XII level.
National Standard Examination in Astronomy (NSEA) is examination leading to International Astronomy & Astrophysics Olympiads.
National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS) is examination leading to International Junior Science Olympiads.
1)-We at Nehru world School can collect the form of other students of different schools in Ghaziabad as well.
2)-A Student can enroll for NSEP/NSEC/NSEA or NSEP/NSEC/NSEB in one go i.e he /she can participate in maximum three examination a day.
3)-A student cannot participate for NSEJS& NSE(Senior) simultaneously.
4)-A student cannot enroll for NSEB & NSEA simultaneously as the timing of examination is same.
5)-Our school can register students for NSEJS also but test centre will be nearby Kendriya vidyalaya.
6)-Student have to pay Rs.100/- for each exam.
7)-Last date to accept completely filled form is 15th September 2016 till 1:00pm.
9)- NSEJS will be held separately in Kendriya Vidyalays on November 20th, 2016
10)-Date& Time of exam of NSE is as below:
Level of question paper for NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, NSEA is class XII.
Level of question paper for NSEJS is class X
Total marks: 240
80 Multiple Choice questions, each for 3 marks Negative mark (-1) for each incorrect answer in NSEC NSEB, NSEA, NSEJS.
The eligibility criteria are laid down by authorities (not by IAPT).
It is your (the student) responsibility to ensure that you satisfy the eligibility norms. If at some later stage it is found that you do not satisfy the norms you will be immediately disqualified without any refund of fees.
For the eligibility criterion (i.e) who can appear for the exam, students must refer to the student’s brochure on IAPT site.
Two weeks before the exam, the list of students enrolled in our centre with registration numbers and hall tickets will be sent to school email address.
Students can collect the hall ticket one week before the exam from NWS(except) Sunday.
Students should go through IAPT site for the latest update. They should also visit NWS site.
Students must carry ID proof along with the hall tickets for the examination.
