Nehru World School organized its 39th Annual Production on 29th April’17 for class IX. The School provides platform which always favours and endeavours the talent of its students and motivates them to be a responsible and awakened human being. The event was graced by the benign presence of Mr. Rishi Khanna, the epitome of humanity who undertook a noble deed of opening Pragati Wheel School for the underprivileged children. Video Conferencing - Human Rights: Freedom of Belief

Nehru World School actively participated in a Multipoint Video Conference on 25th April 2017 on the topic ‘Human Rights’. 20 students from NWS participated in the Generation Global VC with the students from Al Azhar Senior Islamic High School (Indonesia) and Titiksha Public School (India) Students from both the countries actively participated in the discussion and openly shared their opinions. The dialogue began with the explanation of ‘Freedom of Belief’ where students from all the three schools were quite eloquent on what they feel about it personally. Nurturing students to be the future leaders, deserving young talents of Nehru World School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The Investiture Ceremony took place on 21st April’17 which marked the inaugural of the junior and senior student council for the academic session 2017-18. Video Conferencing -The Power of Narrative

Nehru world school participated in a video conference on 20th April'17 with Al-Hasaad Al-Tarbawi Secondary Girls' Section school, Jordan, expressing their opinions on ‘Power of Narratives’. The VC began with some good outlines of stories and explanations of how stories had influenced the students which went deeper with some exemplary personal contributions from the students who talked with great passion about some of their ideas. Visit to Central Park Class Nur, KG

A visit to the Central Park in sector 4, Raj Nagar was organised on the 11th and 12th of April for the students of Kindergarten and Nursery respectively. The children had loads of fun during this short visit. They played various games like hide and seek and I-spy, collected varieties of fallen leaves and enjoyed tremendously on the gazebo while clicking pictures. World Health Day Yoga Session Class 6, 7

World Health Organization (WHO), an organ of UNO, is a department under UNICEF which awakens people about the importance of health. WHO has fixed 7th April as World Health Day. With the sole aim being, wellbeing of its pupils, it resolves to prevent some particular disease or group of diseases. This day was celebrated in NWS with fitness mantra. Yoga session which was taken by Deepak Bhardwaj for grades VI and VII emphasized on the importance of healthy living. His invaluable guidance surely proves the statement that man lives only as long as he is healthy; and for the rest of the years he simply exists. Thus, Health is real wealth.
